Love your Acme Quality Paint sign. I met my wife (42 years) at the Acme Paint Factory in Hamtramck Michigan. Her in the office and me in the factory. Brings back great memories. It would be nice to own that sign.

I currently own National Cash Register Co. register # 203228 35 09754. I am currently in the process of downsizing all my "stuff" and need to find a good home for the register. It would be a great restoration project for someone like yourself. I am willing to give it away free of charge to anyone who appreciates these kinds of machines. I can email pictures of the register if you like.

Very educational site to say the least. Might be interested in an "Amount Purchased" top sign. Probably a reproduction as opposed to an original. Standard model 332, red brass with the Tiffany Dolphin finish.

I got this NCR register from a Mr. Brown, who kind of dealt in old items back in the early 70's. He picked it up in CO. I guess I would sell it for a fair price but it needs "shining" up first. THE NUMBER ON THIS MACHINE IS 1075525 AND THE NUMBER UNDER THAT ONE IS 442. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE HISTORY.

I have my a NCR Brass Register - No. 542 (2) -E.R & S. It's a beauty. It was in my grandfather's /father's lumber yard in Coney Island up til 1996. My grandfather started the business in 1916.. and I he bought this around that time. We were thinking of selling it but I would like to hang on to it for awhile to enjoy. I'm trying to arrange moving it and wonder what it weighs. I know my brother can't BUDGE it. I imagine I'll need a substantial table to sit it on. I may also be interested in an appraisal. Thank you!
